Summer & Theory Lessons

Payments
Due at time of first of four lessons

Missed Lessons
Tuition fee is considered a reservation fee. Cancellations by students due to ILLNESS ONLY may be made up at teacher’s convenience. Cancellations made by teacher will be credited or made up at student’s convenience. LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS WILL NOT BE MADE UP OR REFUNDED. Students who are late to a lesson will have what remains of their scheduled time.

Practice
Without sufficient practice, you are not getting your money’s worth from piano lessons. Practice should have the same priority as any other homework. Parents can help their child find a DAILY BLOCK OF TIME FOR PRACTICE. If a day is missed, it should be made up on the weekend. Six days a week should be the goal, daily sessions being at least equal to the length of the weekly lesson.

Triangle Club (incentive program with pictures and rewards)
Eligibility requires a minimum 3 hours practice per week for 3 weeks, attested to by parent. Stickers are awarded every week 3 hours is achieved. Every 3 stickers receive additional reward.

Supplies & Equipment
Assignment book, technique, theory, and music being studied should be brought to all lessons. Students in Suzuki Book 2 and above require a METRONOME. Ready access to an 88-key acoustic piano in good repair, tuned at least once a year, is assumed.
